Public Insight’s Jonathan Spalter will be a guest speaker at the Conference of Nobel Laureates in Petra Jordan, May 15-16. In a collaboration between the King Abdullah II Fund for Development and the Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity, “Petra III: Building a Better World" will be the third annual meeting of Nobel Laureates and distinguished public figures to be held near the site of Jordan's famed Nabataean ruins. Spalter will speak on public and private financing strategies to support information infrastructure and internet platform development in the Middle East. The two-day event, bringing together nearly 40 Nobel Laureates, will explore a wide range of health, economic, and environmental issues, with special emphasis on how to overcome the information deficit in the Middle East.
